NetCo Body-Cams: Reliable battery technology ‘Engineered in Germany’

German manufacturer relies on strict quality controls and proven battery systems – thousands of devices in continuous use.

NetCo Professional Services GmbH, based in Blankenburg in the Harz Mountains, develops and manufactures professional body cameras for police authorities, transport companies and municipal law enforcement agencies. In light of recent media reports about battery problems with body cameras from other manufacturers, the company would like to make it clear that NetCo devices are not affected by such problems.

The NetCo Body Cam Pro is designed for tough everyday use: with an operating time of up to 20 hours, a temperature range of –20°C to +50°C and IP65 and IK06 certification, it meets the highest standards of reliability and robustness.

Multi-stage quality concept:

• Triple battery testing: Each battery is tested by the manufacturer, upon receipt of goods and before installation.

• Active battery management: The camera software continuously monitors charging current and temperature.

• Regular maintenance: As part of refurbishment agreements, batteries are regularly checked for capacity and mechanical integrity.

• CT testing capabilities: With the help of sister company Microvista GmbH, battery cells can be tested for internal defects without being destroyed.

Long-standing customers include the Bremen Police, the Brandenburg Police, Deutsche Bahn, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe, Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe, Wiener Linien and numerous cities such as Duisburg, Cologne, Bochum and Münster. No safety-related battery incidents have been reported during this period.
