Focus on innovations and best practices: Review of the 2024 Body Cam Conference The security industry meets again to exchange experiences on the topic of body cams.
(Blankenburg (Harz), 7 June 2024) The third Body Cam Conference, organised by NetCo Professional Services GmbH, took place on 5 June 2024 at the Dorint Hotel Köln Messe with great success. Numerous experts from various industries came together to discuss the latest developments and possible applications of body cameras.

Preparing employees: Dipl.-Psych. Dipl. oec. Udo Kluttig from LOGO Bochum GbR explained the psychological aspects of training employees in the use of body cameras.
Background and objectives of the conference The third edition of the annual Body Cam Conference took place on 5 June 2024 in Cologne, this time under the proven motto “Expertise — Network — Best Practice”. Following the success of previous conferences and the positive feedback from participants, the aim was to once again make the event a place for exchange and further training.
The conference serves as a platform for the exchange of experiences between experts, users and decision-makers from the fields of public transport, local authorities and security services. The focus was on practical applications and training related to the use of body cameras. Renowned speakers from the industry shared their knowledge and experience to provide in-depth insights into current trends, challenges and solutions. ## Opening speech and keynote
The full-day event was opened by Prof. Dr Lutz Hagner, CEO of NetCo Professional Services GmbH, who also acted as master of ceremonies throughout the event. Dr Christos Katzidis, Member of the State Parliament and spokesperson for internal affairs for the CDU NRW, gave an inspiring keynote speech entitled “Security motivates and brings success”, in which he emphasised the importance of body cameras for public safety.
Diverse programme and intensive discussions The varied programme offered the approximately 50 participants from the private and public security sectors and public transport valuable insights and practical information on various aspects of body cameras: * Use of body cameras in Munich: Marlies Möbius from Stadtwerke München reported on the successful implementations and the positive effects on security in Munich.
- Preparing employees: Dipl.-Psych. Dipl. oec.
