When recording starts, the other person can also see the camera image on the display. This mirror effect has a de-escalating effect: the person realizes they are being recorded and adjusts their behavior. In the Vienna Public Transport study, assaults dropped by 75% just from the activated display.

Yes. The body cam can be configured to record up to 2 minutes before the record button is pressed. This ensures that the crucial seconds before an incident are not lost.

The NetCo Body-Cam Pro lasts up to 20 hours in recording mode. In practice, this is enough for a full shift. We still recommend daily charging in the SmartHub.

In principle yes, the NetCo Suite can also be installed on your own server (on-premises). However, we recommend using the German NetCo server, as this ensures data protection, maintenance and updates.

With the Body-Cam Pro, data transfer is via the SmartHub: the camera is docked, videos are automatically uploaded encrypted and then deleted from the camera. With the Pro LTE variant, data can also be streamed in real-time via LTE.

All our products are developed and manufactured to be GDPR compliant. As a Made-in-Germany provider, data protection is very important to us. Videos are AES-256 encrypted, unauthorized third parties cannot access the material. We provide a sample works agreement.

Before recording starts, the other person must be informed (transparency requirement). Recording is only permitted in cases of aggressive behavior or imminent escalation. Uninvolved third parties must not be recorded. Fixed deletion deadlines apply. We discuss all of this with you before deployment.

Body cams may be worn in public places. However, permanent recording is not permitted. Recording can take place within the company premises, but must be announced. When publishing footage, filmed persons must be made unrecognizable or give their consent.
